Interactive PowerPoints-Not Just for Presentations Anymore

Everyone is familiar with the use of PowerPoint for presentations, but teachers are finding that they can be used interactively to create games and activities that match their curriculum.

Here you will find examples of different games and activities you can make with PowerPoint without spending alot of money buying computer games.

You will also find directions to make a simple game and a ppt template file to make a storybook.

PowerPoint Presentation-Depending on your browser settings you may have to tell it that it is okay to play the presentation. PowerPoint webpages are best viewed in Internet Explorer. After you access the page click the slide show graphic in the bottom right corner.

A.M. Technology Drop In Session

This year we tried an experiment in the morning. We had demo software available for people to play and see what they liked. We also had some interesting websites on display. Here are handouts listing what we showed and in the case of the software where to get it.

If you need any help creating things please contact me at cbriggs at bucksiu dot org (Hopefully you can translate that into an email address. Don't want to write it the normal way and increase my spam.)
